The school
ValdeSerra International School is a private, co-educational, non-denominational school with every stage of education from age 1 to 18. It is managed by Educa Schools Management.

Every person is unique.
ValdeSerra educates people. That is why teaching and learning adapt to each pupil’s learning style, ability and interests, and prepare them to learn independently throughout their lives. To do so we apply the Wonder educational model and continue with projects such as Atelier, from Nursery School to the second year of Secondary.
In our model, the school is the setting that provides the facilities, services and complementary training that let each person live the experiences that drive their learning. Teachers are guides in that process.
We are a bilingual school. We follow the official Spanish curriculum, with English as the first foreign language and German as the second.
We encourage individual responsibility so that pupils take charge of their own lives, through values work centred on effort and respect and a model of school life guided by professionals.

We educate a person who is…
The ValdeSerra pupil profile, in twelve traits.
inquiring and independent
They are excited by discovery, ask questions out of curiosity and can find answers that lead to new questions. Teacher and school are a guide and a setting full of opportunities.
unique yet cooperative
Aware of their own way of learning and their own interests, they give their best and bring out the best in others for a shared goal. They only compare themselves with themselves.
multilingual and multicultural
Competent in three languages, they know they belong to a globalised society. They know and value their own language and culture as a starting point for knowing and valuing others.
technological and digital
They use information technology as technology for learning and knowledge. They know both its importance and its risks, and use it responsibly.
healthy in body and mind
They learn to look after their physical health, value sport and a proper diet, and keep physical and mental health in balance by working on their emotions.
proactive and enterprising
They know their individual responsibility and learn to lead their own lives so they can later lead others. They do not wait for things to happen: they work to make them happen.
creative and bold
They put forward ideas, look for solutions and open up other paths. A mistake is just a chance to move forward.
courteous and well-mannered
They know how to behave in any setting. They learn that form shapes content, and that is why it matters.
trained in critical thinking
They reflect on the world around them and work with the scientific method. They defend their views and analyse those of others with facts and arguments.
a true communicator
They train every language and resource to communicate with impact, knowing that the key to good communication is attentive, active listening.
responsible towards their surroundings
They are aware of their responsibility for the environment they share with future generations, and of the power of local action in a global context.
and above all, happy!
Because they know that, sometimes in unexpected ways, every effort bears fruit, and they are ready to enjoy and share it.
